1990 -      SAIDIA for Children of Africa, New York, NY
Present   President/Founder
               SAIDIA is a non-profit organization providing surgical aid to
               children of Africa.  Founded with Dr. Richard Leakey.

 1987     Operation KIDS, Richmond, VA
             Co-Chairman
            
Spearheaded  Kenya International Development and Surgery (KIDS)
             project, which sponsored a team of plastic and reconstructive specialists
             from the Medical College of Virginia to work in Kenya.  They repaired cleft lip
             and palate deformities, club feet, postpolio orthopedic conditions and
             severe burns.  This effort resulted in elimination of a waiting list in excess
             of two years.  Functioned as primary coordinator and liaison between
             MCV Hospitals and Kenyatta  National Hospital in Nairobi.  Personally
             secured eight tons of donated medical supplies and equipment and their
             gratuitous shipment form Europe to Africa.

 2006    Founder of “Answer Africa
            A non-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of malaria in Africa.
            From September 2006 through September 2007, Answer Africa has
            raised funding and donated medical supplies, medical equipment and
            microscopes valued at over $600K as well as an additional $80K to
            provide 52,500 mosquito nets to rural areas and villages in Kenya.
